Workstream Again Recognized as Leading Technology Company
On-demand Software Leader Jumps 13 Places to Number 79 on the Branham300 list
Ottawa, ON. – March 16, 2006 – Workstream
Inc. (NASDAQ: WSTM), a provider of On-Demand Enterprise
Workforce Management software, today announced that it
is again among the leading Canadian technology companies,
according to research prepared by Branham Group Inc.,
a top consulting firm servicing the global information
technology marketplace.
The 2006 edition of the Branham300, a comprehensive listing
of publicly traded and privately held IT companies in Canada
that ranks firms by worldwide revenues, was announced this
week by Branham Group. The new listing identifies Workstream
as the 79th largest company, up 13 places from last year’s
ranking. The Company was also ranked in Branham’s
25 Top Software Companies in Canada. The complete rankings

March/April issue of Backbone Magazine.
Now in its thirteenth year, the Branham300 continues
to highlight the top Canadian information technology companies.
Companies must meet three of the following criteria to
be considered a Canadian company for the purposes of applying
for the Branham300 other than the multi-national listing:
- The company was founded in Canada and their headquarters
remain in Canada;
- Over 50 percent of their employees are located in Canada;
- Corporate direction is determined in Canada; and
- Over 50 percent of their research and development activities
are conducted in Canada.
